Multivitamin FERTIL
- Normal fertility
- Folic acid 400 µg
- Cell Protection & Energy
Content and dosage have been carefully developed by midwives to match the Nordic Nutrition Recommendations (NNR) and the Swedish Food Agency's guidelines.
Multi Fertil is our dietary supplement tailored for those who want to conceive, containing Folic Acid, B6 & Zinc. All women planning to become pregnant are recommended to start daily vitamin supplementation containing Folic Acid at least 30 days before planning to stop contraception.
Multi Fertil contains Folic Acid, which, if deficient, can cause early miscarriages and spina bifida in the fetus. Studies have shown that women who take folic acid regularly, especially before and during early pregnancy, have a reduced risk of neural tube defects in the fetus. Dietary supplements with 400 micrograms per day can support a healthy pregnancy. Calcium, which is important for supporting the development of the baby's skeleton and bones. Vitamin A, which is needed for normal vision, skin, and mucous membranes. Vitamin B6, which is involved in blood formation. Other important functions of vitamin B6 include participation in various nervous system functions and supporting the immune system. Vitamin D, which is needed, among other things, for the body to absorb calcium and form bones and teeth. The mineral zinc, which has a number of approved health claims. Zinc contributes, among other things, to normal fertility, maintaining normal bones, hair, skin & nails, and the normal function of the immune system. Iodine, which is necessary for the development of the brain and nervous system, among other things. Selenium, which is part of enzymes that protect cells against oxidation, works with vitamin E, and participates in immunological defense mechanisms.
Adapted dosage according to the Swedish Food Agency and NNR (Nordic Nutrition Recommendations). 60 vegetarian capsules for easier swallowing. 100% vegan.
